Exterior Barn Doors too!

We manufacture exterior barn doors for barns and out buildings too! While about 90% of our business is manufacturing custom and semi custom sliding barn doors for residential interiors, we do manufacture exterior barn doors as well. The construction of the exterior barn doors is the same as the interior barn doors however; we do a couple of things differently when the barn doors will be outside. First off, we apply a marine grade exterior clear coat sealer over the stained finish. This sealer will protect the finish from the exterior elements and has a "non yellowing", "Ultraviolet" protection additive. Secondly, we install a 2" rubber flap gasket (weather stripping) similar to the one on the bottom of your garage door. This helps to protect the exterior elements from the interior of the barn or out building.
