Our Most Popular Barn Door Application!

Continues to be the open entrance (generally an archway) between the master bedroom and master bath. This is a perfect application for a sliding barn door as a traditional door that swung in or out would consume too much wall space. Pictured here The Barn Door Store Crew is installing a big 9 1/2 foot 3 rail plank style barn door that we custom built for this opening. We finished the door in a "Ebony" stain and applied 2" Clavos (Spanish nail Heads) to the door to play on our clients Spanish Colonial furnishings. We hung this door using our Vintage Style rolling barn door hardware kit which includes six spoke barn door wheels. The hardware was finished in our "Dark Bronze" finish which added an unexpected detail to the door.

This pair of Sliding Barn Doors was a great addition to this den and a great space saver to the room as well. We got a call from a customer that had a rather small den off of her front entry way. She wanted to convert the 12' X 11' space to a "teen room" for her two daughters and their friends to hang out. originally the den had a pair of doors 30" wide that swung into the room which took up valuable wall space and made it tough for furniture placement. We built this pair of 32" wide by 82" tall barn doors and installed them on a traditional barn door, wheel and rail hardware system mounted inside the room. This application not only looks great, but allows for more flexibility related to furniture placement and truly opens up the space.
