Wood is a great insulator and sound deadening material and we feel that should be capitalized on when dividing off a room with a barn door. We also apply the style and rail trim to both sides of the door. So, no matter which side you are look at, front or back, the door will have the same detail and beauty. Notice we apply a beveled edge to each plank which gives the door an added detail and allows each plank to stand alone with its own character. When it comes the the forging of our sliding barn door hardware, only the finest materials are used in our metal shop. Our wheel arms and slide rails are made from solid 1/4" forged steel.
